The next day (Monday) we got to Animal Kingdom right after it opened. We trekked all the way to the back of the park to go on safari. It was the coolest part of the day and the line was short. Owen really enjoyed checking out the animals here and on the walking trails. AK is very shady in spots, so that was a nice break from the heat.
After nap, we went back to AK for dinner at Yak and Yeti and it was d-to-the-licious. Seriously, you have to go if you can. Like, get up right now and head to Orlando. The dessert was the best part.
