3rd Birthday Party

Owen's birthday party came and went in a flash...with no problems.  You would have never known he had a 105 degree fever the day before and an ear infection.  He is thankfully taking his antibiotic, even though he doesn't know it's mixed in the massive amount of chocolate in his milk twice a day.  Don't judge me...whatever gets the job done!  He is this close to being referred to an ENT.  Sometimes I think tubes might be easier.  At least this time he didn't have to get a shot.

Birthday dinner

We went to California Dreaming last night for Owen's birthday.  Owen has never been there, and we thought he would like to look at the water and the boats.  Turns out we were right and he basically stood at the windows next to our table until it got dark.  We even saw a few fish jumping in the water. 

After dinner we came home and opened presents and had cupcakes.  Most of the pics were blurry b/c I'm not used to taking them in dimly lit settings.  Papa and Grandmama were also there, but they were unrecognizable.  These are the only ones that made it through...

Owen turns 3

Our little buddy turns 3 today.  I was so happy (Brig not so much) Owen woke up before I left for work this morning.  I wanted to wish him a happy birthday, and since he will not talk to anyone on the phone, I wouldn't have seen him until this afternoon.  He was very excited his bday was finally here.  Brig made monkey cupcakes for his class today, but I forgot the memory card so I'll have to post that pic later.

It's hard to believe it's been three years since Owen came into this world.
